Sessions costs are negotiated between us and start at £40 per hour for individuals, £60 for couples and £80 for families. I would not however want cost to stop someone working with me if it felt right that we do so. I am open to arranging a deferred payment scheme and in certain circumstances I offer reduced rates, for example to students or people with limited finances.
I am happy to offer an initial brief opportunity for us to meet in person or talk on the phone, without charge or any obligation. You can ask any further questions, get a feel for the way I work and say something about why you feel therapy would be helpful for you. You can then decide whether to arrange a counselling session.
Sessions usually last for one hour, and the number and frequency varies from person to person and is agreed between us.
The space in which I work is on the first floor, accessed via stairs, is private and confidential and there is parking near by. If coming to me is difficult in some way then I am open to offering appointments on the phone or by Skype by prior arrangement.
48 hours' notice is usually required to cancel an appointment without charge.
All that takes place between counsellor and client is treated with confidentiality, respect and discretion.
